With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald A. Wilde, a loving and devoted father and husband, on December 29, 2024, at 60. Born in Quantico, VA, he was the anchor of our family, always keeping us grounded and providing unwavering support and love to his wife, Michelle Wilde, and their son, Mckinley Wilde. He was also immensely devoted and loving to his parents, Serena and Ronald B.
Ron was known for his gentleness, kindness, dedication, and drive. His friends lovingly called him the “dog whisper.” He could befriend almost any dog. Ron graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology because he was passionate about the sea.
Ron found immense joy in scuba diving, fishing, hiking, and being with friends and family. He also loved serving others through production services at North Point Community Church's children’s program.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle Wilde and son, Mckinley Wilde. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 18. The visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 pm, with the ceremony starting at 6:00 pm at Rowell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Adopt a Golden in his memory.
