Woodstock, GA.
Roslyn enjoyed living life to its fullest. She worked at Re/Max Town and Country as a Real
Estate Agent for 32 years. She always said she would never retire from Real Estate, because
she loved it so much. She met and befriended so many wonderful people through her
profession. Strangers would be invited and attend Thanksgiving dinners, because they had just
moved into the area and would otherwise be alone during the holidays. Roslyn always said
“actions speak louder than words”, and she lived by this code. She taught her kids to be
generous to others and to always keep a place open at the dinner table.
Roslyn, a.k.a. Rozzie Bear, loved her 4 grandkids and would look for any opportunity to spoil
them with kisses, toys and chewing gum (even though it was forbidden by the parents). She
would attend sporting events, as long as they didn’t start too early. Roz wasn’t a fan of
mornings. She used to say that was why she went into Real Estate!
Roz loved to dance, sing loudly in the car, travel and get a tan (despite her oldest daughter’s
pleas to wear sunscreen). She was very proud to be from Brooklyn. This world is a bit more
quiet and empty without her in it, and she will be missed by so many.
Roslyn is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas John Dennis, her sister, Norma Jones as
well as her parents, Martin and Harriet Alpert.
She is survived by her children Tony, Felicia and Amanda, her grandsons Blake and Wilder, and
her granddaughters, Abby Jo and Sadie.
The funeral will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell at 12 P.M. on Sunday the 4th of
October.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation, in Roslyn’s name, to the
Atlanta Humane Society.
