

Shahin was a beloved husband, father, and friend, who passed away on December 21, 2023 at the age of 69, just days before his 70th birthday. He was born on December 27, 1953, in Tehran, Iran, and moved to the United States in 1979 in the midst of the Iranian Revolution.
Shahin received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Alabama A&M. He went on to become a successful entrepreneur in both the rug business and real estate industry. As a business partner, he was known for his wisdom, integrity, and commitment to success.
Beyond his professional achievements, Shahin was an incredibly dedicated family man. He cherished his role as a husband and father, leaving a legacy of love and warmth. He found joy in simple pleasures, such as going for walks, playing card games, hosting weekly hangouts with his friends, and showcasing his culinary skills as an amazing cook.
Shahin will be remembered as a passionate friend and for his loyalty to those he held dear. He was the binding force that brought all his friends together. His life has left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his loving children, Soheil and Sahar, and siblings, Ali, Shahlah, and Shahriar. Shahin was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mitra Zahra Faghihi, with whom he shared over 26 years of love and companionship with before her passing in 2018.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roswell Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Green Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), the same organization that financially supported Shahin during his cancer journey. This reflects Shahin's commitment to making a positive impact on the world, even in his passing. Your contributions will honor his memory by supporting a cause that was close to his heart.
