Stacey Lynn Horel

Stacey was born on June 9, 1974, in Downey, CA, and passed away peacefully on June 1, 2023, in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Stacey was a loving wife to Brian Horel and a wonderful mother to daughters Brooke and Erin. Cherished daughter of Timothy and Cathy Beard and sister to Scott Beard. Loving dog mom to Cali.

Stacey had been fighting brain cancer for over 27 years. She was a fighter for her entire life. She was the most amazing, strong, loving, and caring wife, mom, and friend. Most people didn’t know that she was battling this deadly disease. She lived her life to the absolute fullest despite her challenges. Stacey lived in the moment knowing that things could take a turn. Family was important to Stacey and she did everything she could to make that happen. She loved every moment with her daughters and taught them to be strong. Dance was a passion for Stacey even when she was a young girl and she passed on this legacy to her two girls. She became the best dance mom. She was so supportive of anything they were a part of. You could always find her on the lake wakeboarding, wake surfing, and especially driving the boat. Another milestone that drove Stacey was making sure her girls will continue to become strong adults by getting them into college. She knew that they would continue to thrive. Stacey wanted to experience life and she did.

A visitation for Stacey will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 11 AM to 2PM at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076. Following the visitation will be a memorial service at noon. A reception will be held after the service at Fairway Social from 2 PM to 4 PM, 240 S Main St, Alpharetta, GA 30009.
