Steve and I  spent many happy times together at IBM and on the tennis courts.  He had a woderful sense of humor and shared many stories of his family summer vacations and beach volleyball games. 
A true professional and devoted family man. 

 One of the good guys who will be greatly missed. 
     

I met Steve when he moved into management in IBM in Kingsport.  He was always well-liked, always fair, always a fun guy.  We need more like him.

I knew Steve mainly as a friend and then a coworker.  Steve was very bright and you learned a lot when you were with Steve.  He was a member of our monthly movie and dinner club sue to Joe Nicholson urging.  As a coworker Steve was independent  and delivered quality results.  He was very resourceful and responded to all request

I worked with Steve as a marketing training instructor in IBM in the 70s.  Then he called me when I was starting a new channels organization in the 80s.  I hired him and moved him back to Atlanta.  Steve was a positive person with a can do attitude.  He always uplifted people.  He was a competitor.  He was a family man.  I know he is looking for a friendly tennis match in the afterlife.

Great guy, great family, the old guard is moving on, but leaves great memories.

A  good friend and outstanding tennis partner.  We had many good times together at IBM and on the tennis court.  Steve is dearly missed.


I am so sorry for your loss. I have wonderful memories working with Steve in Channel Incentives at IBM. He was a very kind man. Praying for comfort for his family. 🙏

I can never forget this gentleman as he saved my life during my heart attack by giving me no options except going to the hospital.  Thank you Steve!

I met Steve when I was 6 or 7 years old. He was the first person I ever knew with a sarcastic sense of humor. It took me awhile to figure him out but when I finally did I thought he was one of the funniest Dad’s I ever met.  I know his life wasn’t long enough but his love for his family was deep enough and his reach was wide enough  that he will be missed by so many of us. Thinking of you all. ❤️
