Vernon Lee Mattox Sr, 85 a native of Atlanta, departed this life on December 5, 2012. Vernon was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Irene Mattox, his brother, Gordon Mattox, sisters, Thelma Mattox, Dorothy Mattox and his twin Virginia Clark. Mr. Mattox was retired from Darby Printing company. Surviving are his daughter Sharon and son in law, Dr. Robert A. Foster Jr, Roswell, GA, son and daughter in law, Lee and Cathy Mattox, Dacula, GA, granddaughter and her fiancé Charlotte Foster and Jeremy Williamson. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012, 10:00 AM at Crestlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jason Barber officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening at Roswell Funeral Home from 6:00 Until 8:00 PM. Roswell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
