

B. Wayne Clark, 71 of John’s Creek, Georgia went to be with Jesus on February 26, 2020. Wayne was born in Owensboro, KY on June 2, 1948 to the late Ivan and Helen Clark. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Nancy L. Clark, and three surviving children, Jennifer Dawn Gressett (Scott), Todd Aaron Clark (Liz) and Jeremy Wayne Clark (Nancy). Along with his parents Wayne is preceded in death by one child, Benjamin David Clark. Wayne has one surviving brother, Michael Clark (Beth) and two surviving sisters, Vicki Lynn Clark and Karen Ann Clark. Wayne is survived by 7 grandchildren: Caleb Gressett, John Gressett, Olivia Clark, Laura Clark, Jade Clark, Anna Gressett and Naomi Clark.
In his life Wayne was an administrative officer in several healthcare companies, a writer and teacher of Biblical books and a bi-vocational pastor. His chief passions were to be God’s friend and to exhort others toward genuine relationship with God and love for their neighbors.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, March 2, 2020 in the Sanctuary of Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church in Johns Creek. A visitation with the family will be held from four o’clock in the afternoon until six on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Roswell Funeral Home. A private family grave site service will be held at ten o’clock in the morning on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Green Lawn Cemetery.
God has gifted us through Wayne as a teacher through the years.
