William “Bill” Newton Brimer, age 78, of Roswell, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015. A Funeral Mass will be said 10:30 am Saturday, July 11, 2015 at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church, Roswell. Interment will follow, with military honors, in Green Lawn Cemetery, Roswell.
Mr. Brimer, a native of Roswell, was a son of the late, Newton Levi and Genie Bullard Brimer. He worked as a real estate agent with Jim Walters Homes and was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his son, James Brimer and daughter, Juliann Morris.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Smaha Brimer of Roswell. Children: Connie Settle; Barry Brimer and his wife, Val; Sabrina Watson and her husband, Dale; Thomas Brimer and his wife, Joanie Scott; Paige Brimer; and Becky B. Matello and her husband, Chris. Sister and her husband, Rebecca Brimer King (Aubrey); brother and his wife Silvey Brimer (Susan); Fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
