Eddie!  That is what I called him as a young girl.  He was my godfather, a co worker of my fathers in Oregon, and a cherished family friend.  

He taught me so much about God and God's Holy Sprit.  

My deepest condolences to the family.  He was a very special light to so many.  I hope you talk often of all the wonderful memories you must have of dear, dear Eddie.

Te conozco desde que tenía sólo 5 años de edad. La silla de la cocina de mi madre, que ahora está en mi sala de estar, es la misma silla de la cocina Me paraba en abrazarte adiós a medida que quedó allí en su bata Christian Brothers !! Desde esos primeros años tuve la rara oportunidad de ser bendecidos con una persona que me amara y guiar a lo largo de toda mi vida.
Usted me envió "Peanuts" (especialmente "Snoopy") de cumpleaños y tarjetas de Navidad sin tener que perder el ritmo. Cada vez que usted vivió en Cali siempre me escribiría cartas y cuando llegó a "casa" Oregon nuestra casa era su casa. Usted se convirtió en un miembro de nuestra familia que amaba, apoyado y me nutre cada paso de mi viaje en esta vida ... siempre allí a través de mi niñez, mi adolescencia (que probablemente fue duro para ti !! :-), Estabas allí cuando mi padre, madre y su hermano pasaron. Su estaban allí cuando me casé y cuando tuve mis hijos, que también apoyó y nurtured.You fuera mi hermano, mi amigo, mi alma gemela para la vida.
Me siento muy afortunada de haberte conocido. No mucha gente tiene amigos tan especiales verlos en toda su vida !! Sé que su todavía están conmigo, mirando por encima de mi familia y que le estará esperando en las puertas del cielo "" cuando es mi tiempo para verte de nuevo. Te amo y te perderá el resto de mis días mi amigo.

Eddie:  One of the most memorable Brothers I have ever had the honor and good luck to have known...we had one conversation that continued -on and off- for over 50 years.  I will remember him every time I think of La Salle HS, Chicago Pizza, or of my home town of Kingsburg, CA, where he once got a speeding ticket!  God bless you, Ed!

No time on earth is long enough to share with those we love or to prepare our hearts for good bye. Eddie, I will miss you for always and you will remain in my heart Forever.......

Sometimes we would talk every day, at other times we would speak less often.. We (You) had lots to talk about and many things to say. ( so did I. ha ha ) We helped each other through many hard times and shared so many happy times too! Thank you for your friendship, care, sharing ( especially about our special friend, the Holy Spirit).. Disneyland, spicy food, Berkeley and Sausalito...such good memories of a wonderful friend and person..I will miss you tremendously but keep an eye on me, will ya? You always had my back...just as I had yours...

I will cherish those phone calls we had sometimes reminiscencing and laughing of the past incidents with relatives. Also the adventures we had going to the Queen of Angels church, Olvera St., and visiting cousins and relatives we hadn't seen in a long time. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have gone on these adventures. Love you primo. May God keep you in his kingdom always.

May you dance with the Angels. Heard so much good about you Ed, sorry I didn't get to meet you. You are loved and will be missed by many. RIP

Rest in Peace Ed! I have always thought you were so special, friends from 1966. Jon and I were so lucky to see you most years even while you lived in Califrornia. You had a unique ability to reach out and keep in touch. I know you"ll walk with the angels! I also know you will keep an eye on all of us. I thank you for your never ending friendship and ability to make me laugh. God Bless!

He gave his life to teach us and then became our life long friend. Ed, you were loved more than you ever realized. What a joy! We were so blessed!
