Born September 22, 1930 in Albany, New York to parents David and Alice Smith; passed away peacefully on July 5, 2017 in Sacramento, California.
Preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Vera; sisters Dolores and Lois; survived by his daughter Francine (Francis) and many friends and family. Services will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Home of Peace Cemetery. Following the service, a celebration of Lester’s life will be held at Lombard Funeral Home located at 1550 Fulton Ave. Sacramento, CA 95825.
