He was predeceased by his parents Henrietta and Benjamin Levine and brother, Joel Levine.
He was the loving husband of Judy Levine; father to Cheryl Levine (Brian Elsbernd) and Jeanette (Dr. David) Morrison; and grandfather to Daniel and Henry Morrison, and Joey Elsbernd and Ava Levine; brother-in-law to Iris Levine; and uncle to Lawrence Levine, Cynthia Levine and Pamela Kowitt.
Arthur was graduated from Forest Hills High School, received his B.A in Economics from The City College of New York and pursued MBA studies at the City University of New York.
He served time in the Navy, and was Quartermaster on the USS Caloosahatchee during the Cuban missile crisis of 1962.
Prior to moving to San Francisco in 1995 to work as a professional project manager in information technology, Arthur had lived at various times in South Old Bridge, N.J. and Arlington Heights, IL where he contributed to his communities as a volunteer fireman.
As his career developed he later became a consultant and designed, conducted and facilitated project management, quality assurance, strategic thinking, risk management and mitigation and business systems design seminars at major Fortune 500 clients. In 2002, he and Judy met.
After he retired in 2004, he and Judy moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to Prescott, Arizona where they lived until June of 2017 when they relocated to Roseville, CA.
His daughters Cheryl and Jeanette and his grandchildren, along with classical music, opera, traveling and bicycling were his major joys in life.
Funeral services were held July 31 at the Home of Peace Jewish Cemetery in Sacramento, California.
