Barbara Sue Wilbourn (Blevins) passed away June 24, 2015, at the age of 92. Barbara was born April 14, 1923 in Woodland, CA. She married her childhood sweetheart, John Wilbourn, on August 26, 1944. In addition to her role as “Mom,” Barbara was an instrumental business partner working with John in growing the Wilbourn Tool Company. The venture was so successful that they sold the business and retired in their mid-50s. In retirement, they traveled the United States, Canada, and Mexico in their motorhome. They also enjoyed their second home in Indio and cruises to various exotic sites.
Barbara is survived by her husband, John; sons, Michael (Wendy) and Richard (Lori); daughters, Susan Busath (Stuart), and Debra Geno (Raymond); grandchildren, Virginia, Bradford, Parker, Lindsey, Jennifer, Samantha, Beth, Brian, and Brittney; and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Mason, Austin, Everly, Matthew, and Jacob. She was predeceased by her son, Ronald.
Memorial services will be private. Any remembrances can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Barbara's honor.
