Carissa is, was, and always will be, the beautiful daughter of Mia and Bernardo Hernandez and Rito Gutierrez, the sweet granddaughter of Bernie and Dolores Hernandez. She was the loving wife of Jamie Bowman and a wonderful mother to Francine Acuna, Joseph Bowman, Michael Bowman, and Jordan Bowman. She was the fun-loving sister of Clarence Gutierrez, Christina Moffett, Mia Gutierrez, Bernardo Hernandez III, Antonio Hernandez and Alicia Hernandez. She loved her children with all her heart. Her beautiful smile and the joy she brought to everyone will live in our hearts forever. When she was younger, she loved to dance and sing at the skating rink. She loved hanging out with her brothers and sisters. Family was so important to her. All she ever wanted was for everyone to be happy. Carissa was a sensitive soul. You will always be in our hearts. We love you and may peace be with you always.
A funeral service for Carissa will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Harry A. Nauman & Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95822. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St Mary's Cemetery, 6700 21st Ave, Sacrametno, CA 95820.
