Christine M. Reed, born September 28, 1917 in Sacramento, died 95 years later on June 1, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed; and her daughter Madeline. She is survived by her son Ed, her granddaughter Barbara, and her niece Louise.
She volunteered for over 20 years with Sutter Hospital Auxiliary and was a long term member of the Elk Grove Senior Center where she received special recognition for her volunteer services. She was a member of St. Lukes's Lutheran Church and later Ascension Lutheran Church. She was an avid fisherman and camper having spent a number of years with the Lazy Loafers Recreational Vehicle Club. She particularly enjoyed visiting Silver Lake with friends and family. She will be remembered for her unceasing love of her departed husband and will be happy to finally be reunited with him. Memorial Services for Christine will be held at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 1:00 P.M.
