

On January 11, 2022, at the age of 85, Colleen passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Colleen was a devout catholic with a fiery personality and a passion for exploring her family history and genealogy. She was a resident of Sacramento County since 1947, born in Fairbault, MN on May 28, 1936. Attended Fair Oaks Elementary School, St. Joseph’s and San Juan High Schools, and American River College. She worked 16 years at McClellan AFB then took a promotion to go to Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, Texas where she retired from Real Estate and Accounting for the Department of Defense. She moved back to the Sacramento area in 2001. Before her permanent residency in Sacramento, Colleen lived with her family in Texas, Africa, North Carolina, Philippines and New Mexico. She was the mother of 7 children - Richard Montes of Aurora CO, Joseph Montes of Spokane WA, Tony Montes of Boise ID, Jim Fadollone of Roseville CA, John Fadollone of Alberta CA, Guy Fadollone of Los Angeles CA and Cindy Vine of Santa Rosa CA. She was also the Grandmother to 14 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her husband Jaime Fadollone and son John Fadollone.
A Visitation for Colleen will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lombard Funeral Home, 1550 Fulton Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95825. A Recitation of the Rosary will immediately follow the visitation. A Mass of the Christian Burial will occur Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 615 Vine Avenue, Roseville, CA 95678. A Graveside service will occur Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 7101 Verner Ave, Citrus Heights, CA 95621.
