Beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson and friend left this life on July 29, 2010. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Born on May 25, 1966, and given the name Don Piccolo II, Dan enjoyed nature, bicycling, reading, and music. Dan was one of a kind, a talented and gifted composer who was working on several pieces at the time of his passing. Mother, father, grandmother, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, Dan preceded us all in death and is saving us a spot at the King's table. He wants us all to know that he is at peace. Since 2000, Dan worked at Franklin Templeton Investments in the Technologies Division and was known to be one of the best. Starting out on the ''help desk'' his hard work and dedication earned him the title of Senior Technical Services Associate. His coworkers complimented him on his stellar job performance and good spirit. A loving and kind person, Dan understood the value of caring and it was a tradition for him to financially support Loaves and Fishes and to help serve Thanksgiving supper. He certainly worked up an appetite for turkey there as his sister can attest. Dan knew the Lord and early in his life wanted to be called after ''The Carpenter''; we can all be assured he is with Him now. His life is a triumph. Friends are invited to a celebration of life Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1066 26th St. in Sacramento. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Loaves and Fishes.
Arrangements under the direction of Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, Sacramento, CA.
