Dan slipped away peacefully after a long battle of Cancer at the age of 67, on 12-2-22 into the arms of angels, at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Dan was married to the love of his life, Linda Landerholm. A true Love story. They shared a life of immeasurable love for over 40 years. They worked together throughout their lives to provide a strong, caring, loving family and endless love for each other.

Dan was born in Danville, Illinois. The youngest of three sons, born to Charles R. and Marie Landerholm. They relocated to Rockford, Il where Dan lived his childhood years. After marrying Linda, they moved to Sacramento, CA in 1982.
Dan had a successful life working for many years in the Auto Industry.
In his earlier years he owned his own Auto Shop in Rockford, Il, specializing in Import cars. After relocating to California, he started his career as a technician and later became a service advisor. Dan’s definition, "Verbal Punching Bag".
Dan knew no strangers and his smile lit up the night. He filled this world with his smile and beautiful spirit. Kind, caring, loving, everyone loved Dan, he never found anything but goodness in everyone he knew.
Dan, without reservation preferred to always help others and never asked for help for himself. Dan loved to travel and spent endless hours mapping out every destination on his trips. He was an adventurous soul and was never fearful of something new. He wanted to do it all and see it all. If anyone had the privilege of traveling with Dan it was truly a trip you would never forget!
Dan, being a boat lover, spent most of his weekends on the Sacramento River. The friends, the stories and the memories during this period will always hold a special place in Dans heart.
He bravely fought his battle to the end with all his strength for his wife, Lin and his family. He taught us how to live each day as if it were the most beautiful day in your life.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kailath and his staff at Sierra Oncology. Additionally Dr. Wiesner, Dan's rheumatologist for numerous years. Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
