

David moved to Sacramento in 1946 and after graduating from Sacramento High School entered the United States Army. After serving with the Army during the Korean War, he settled in Rancho Cordova, CA where he worked at Aerojet for 35 years.
He is survived by his three children Cindy (Mike) Fernandez, Karen Ollinger and David Dean Dyer, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, brother Eulys A. Dyer and loving companion Phyllis Uyemura.
David loved animals and was a proud member of the Rancho Cordova Moose Lodge. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Sacramento SPCA or Rancho Cordova Moose Lodge in David’s memory.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home located at 5401 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento, CA. A celebration of his life will be held after the memorial at the Rancho Cordova Moose Lodge located at 10124 Coloma Road, Rancho Cordova. He will be interred at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA at a date to be determined.
