

High school mathematics educator, Jennifer “Jenny” Mikaela Yung’s love of life did not come to an end with her death. Jenny passed away on December 22, 2024 at the age of 35 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Jenny completed her Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Education at the University of California, Irvine. After teaching for two years in Redwood City, CA, she further pursued higher education and attained a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Jenny’s pride was in her school and students. She shared her passion for learning, mentoring, and helping others with hundreds of students over her 12 years of teaching, 10 of which were a part of the Clark High School Charger family.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Jenny. She loved watching sunrises and sunsets. During school breaks, Jenny would travel to mountain resorts to snowboard or fly to Hawaii to take ATVs off roading and go hiking in the tropical nature. She was an avid Swiftie who attended Taylor Swift concerts and enjoyed listening to her music, especially the album, 1989.
Jenny had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities and make people feel valued and important. She was extremely loving, caring, and selfless. Her friendly personality and amazing smile was contagious to everyone she met. Jenny is survived by her husband, Emmanuel; father, Richard; brother, Thomas; sisters, Helen, Janet, and Wanda; in-laws, Edmundo and Digna, Eugene and Leizel, Elanie and Cody, Nick, Glenn, and Alex; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
