John V. Arias, 88, of Sacramento CA passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on June 5, 2016. Preceded in death by Herlinda S. Arias (wife) and John S. Arias (son). Survived by children Frank Arias, Susie (Ken) Kitelinger, Nancy (Matthew) Martin, five grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Viewing will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, 5961 Franklin Blvd., Sacramento, CA. Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment immediately following the Mass at St. Mary's Cemetery. No reception. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
