

John Ramon Izarraras 59 - of Sacramento California, crossed over with dignity at home on Thursday, May 31, 2012; the memory of his grace and love of a carefree life could not be dimmed by anything. He was born in Sacramento, CA to Sally P. Izarraras and the late John M. Izarraras. His family lived in the Sacramento area, where John graduated from Hiram Johnson High School Class of ‘71. He worked at Campbell’s Soup for 25 years. His main events and or passions were watching boxing and the San Francisco 49ers and Giants games and jamming to oldies but goodies. He is also predeceased by his son “John Jay” Izarraras. He is survived by his mother Sally Izarraras and sisters Mary, Corrine, Linda, Rita, Shirley, Juanita, Teresa and Tina. He is also survived by his sons Ralph and Nico and daughter Alma. He will always be “Papa John” to his grandchildren “Bebe-Happy Happy”, “Too-Too”, “Gordo” and “Chops”. He is also survived by many brother’s-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and the local community whom loved and respected him. The family would like to thank Vitas Innovative Hospice Care staff for their heartfelt attention and the physicians at Methodist Hospital of Sacramento whom went above and beyond their duties to assist the family. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1333 58th Street, Sacramento CA; burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 2615 21st Street, Sacramento, CA.
