Judith Lynn Riffle

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Lynn Riffle, age 79, who left us peacefully on August 29, 2024. Born on September 9, 1944, Judy dedicated over 30 years of her career to the State of California, the majority with the Department of Insurance.

Judy loved to read and found joy in knitting. She loved to travel with her friends. She was also an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants, eagerly cheering them on through both the good and the bad.

Judy is survived by her beloved sons, Steven Riffle (Kerri) and Richard Riffle (Sarah), her cherished grandchildren Aryah, Maddy, Skye, Noah, and Taylor, and her great-grandchild, Jordan. Judy will be dearly missed by her sister, Patricia Carbone. She is also survived by her many nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard M. Cox and Mary Alice Cox.

Judy's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, September 23, from 12-4pm at Curtis Hall, 2791 24th St, Sacramento. All are welcome to attend and celebrate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice in her memory.
