Loris Dominic Salatti, 89, of Sacramento, passed away on October 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 25, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Dominico and Anina Salatti. Loris proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as a firefighter from 1955 to 1957. He was married to his devoted wife, Carolyn, for 66 years. Loris is survived by his beloved wife Carolyn and their three daughters: Janice, Julie (Danny), and Jodi (Robert). He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Dustin, Kayla, Dylan, Brooke, Trevor, and Jordyn, and great-grandchildren Jade, Cruz, Claire, Emma, Faye, and Miles. Loris was preceded in death by his brother Jack and sister Florence. He was known for his teasing sense of humor and love of joking with those around him. His hobbies included golfing, fishing, playing checkers, and spending time with his family, who meant everything to him. At this time, no services are planned. The family will hold a private gathering at a later date to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages friends to share memories of Loris and keep him in their hearts.
