

Mary Ann Manning born as Mary Ann Bryant on October 29, 1959 as the third child born to parents Sara May Adger and Lawson Bryant whom were both from Louisiana. She grew up in North Richmond where she attended Verde elementary school and Richmond High School. She was raised around a lot of family members including aunts, uncles and cousins that loved her dearly. As her mother remarried she became the youngest daughter of eight siblings in a blended family.
In 1984, Mary married Lamar Manning to whom she had two daughters April and Sabrina and was raising her son Howard with. They raised their family in Sacramento, Ca. She has seven grandchildren between her three children. Although her marriage ended with Lamar, she always declared her love for her children and grandchildren.
Mary was a stay at home mother in her early years where she stayed busy taking care of her three children and making sure the household ran smoothly. She later worked in healthcare as a CNA and In home care provider. She was very ambitious and went back to school where she received a certificate in computer programming and also received her CDL's.
She really enjoyed crafting, making jewelry and cooking authentic homemade meals, she was well known for her signature side shrimp crab macaroni salad. She also enjoyed watching tv series and movies on the weekend, she called this her "me time" Mary was well liked and admired by a lot of different people, she had a great personality that made it easy for her to make new acquaintances wherever she went.
On March 21, 2026 Mary succumbed to an unexpected health crisis that was newly diagnosed to her, she leaves behind to cherish her memories: Two daughters April and Sabrina, seven grandchildren
Hayley, Elijah, Caleb, Samarah, Shamar, Samani and Shamond and a host of other family and friends. She will be missed but never forgotten.
