Grandpa, I'm at a loss for words. I'm usually strong, won't shut up(lol), and full of energy... But reflecting on what seems two different lives I've lived, I gained so much insight from you on how to overcome, use discernment, and have faith despite life's circumstances.
  So much of my Dad's wisdom,(Derek Sr.), was passed down through you, my zest for life directly stems from you, and my memories of you are of enjoyment.
 I love you Grandpa, and forgive me for not telling you just how much. You knew though...thank you for seeing the good in me, it's what I am grateful for.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

You are with my daddy now. I know the two of you are happy to be together again. May you rest in peace.

I exist because of Jehovah and my mom and dad, and for this I am forever grateful.

Everyone at Southern Pacific's Sacramento General Shops knew him as "Smiley". I worked around him for many years and regarded him as a close personal friend, and a true Gentleman. I will never forget him.

My dad I love so and miss so much. It hurts and I know your in a better place you got your wings. God has you now and your watching over us now. At piece love your baby girl
