Sheri attended Brookfield School and Rio Americano and then earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from the University of Southern California- her beloved USC! After graduating in 1986, Sheri moved back to Sacramento where she began her career in real estate marketing.
Friends were important to Sheri, and she entertained regularly. She loved to celebrate all holidays and USC games and was always looking to throw that next party with typical Sheri flair and panache. Her ability to make anyone feel welcome and at ease was a gift that amazed us all.
Of particular note were Sheri’s unflagging optimism, her uncomplaining personality, her vitality and warmth, her desire to reach out regularly to family by phone, her special connection to her many friends, and her loving devotion to her only daughter, Mimi, whom she called “Buttercup” and whom she lavished with motherly attention and love for all of the years of her life.
Sheri’s bright spirit and hearty laugh will remain with us forever, and we are the better for her fifty years on this earth. We will so miss our wonderful Sheri.
Sheri is survived by her beloved daughter, Mimi; her mother, Judy; father, LenArd; sisters, Janet and Kathryn; brother-in-law, Chris; and nieces, Lynsey and Grace.
At Sheri’s request, her burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to B Street Theatre or a charity of your choice. A private celebration of life will be held later this year for family and Sheri’s special friends.
Arrangements under the direction of Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, Sacramento, CA.
