Betty Ethel Stoehr

Betty E. Stoehr (nee Dempsey), 85, of Ferguson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ethel (nee Bonham) and William Dempsey; husband of 61 years, Paul E. Stoehr, Sr.; a son, Ralph Stoehr; and brothers, William, Russell, and Samuel. Betty is survived by her children, Paul (Marta) Stoehr, Jr. of Villa Ridge, MO, Susan (Paul) Pechenino of Trenton, IL, Peggy (Rod) Wegermann of St. Louis, MO, and Richard (Rita) Stoehr of Florissant, MO; grandchildren, Melissa (Ken) Roe, William (Alana) Stoehr, Angela (Brian) Romo, Amy (Ryan) Pechenino, Matthew (Katie) Wegermann, Andrew (Brooke) Wegermann, David Wegermann, Samantha (Jacob) Stoehr, and Derrick Stoehr; great grandchildren, Jacob Stoehr, Gabrielle Romo, Louis Romo, Kayden Winscher, Amarie Winscher, and Ensley Wegermann; and a sister-in-law, Andrea (nee Roach) Dempsey.

Betty was a proud lifetime member of the Wildlife Conservation Organization of MO, a 52-yr member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 161, and lifetime member of the Modern Woodmen of America. She was a strong women who loved her family, her flowers, and her Chihuahuas. She will be missed by everyone who had the joy of knowing her.

Friends may visit on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home in St. Ann. Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt.
