Imogene Gulledge (nee Johnston) age 84, a resident of St. John, Missouri, was called home to Heaven Sunday, March 7, 2021. Born September 12, 1936, in Hickman, Kentucky to the late Lexi and Iva Johnston (nee McClendon).

On December 8, 1956, she married Nathan Lee Gulledge who preceded her in death on September 24, 2020. Together they lovingly raised their family.

She proudly loved and served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, was an avid flower gardener, an amazing cook, and an accomplished seamstress who also participated in local craft fairs. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of St. Ann where she sang in the choir and often sang solo for Jesus.

She is loved and survived by son Kevin G. Gulledge of St. Louis (Michelle McMurray), daughter Michele D. Gulledge of St. Louis; by grandchildren Angelitha D. Walker (Josh Wankasky) of Olcott, New York, Nathan L. (Becca) Gulledge of Kansas City, Missouri, Jacob A. Gulledge of Wilton Manors, Florida, Kevin R. Gulledge of Imperial, Missouri, Trevor I. Gulledge of Medford, New Jersey, Danny Tabora of N. Tonawanda, NY; by four great-grand children Stella M. Gulledge, Brayden L. Walker, Shelby M. Gulledge and Leilani S. Wankasky; by brothers Golder Johnston of Jacksonville, FL and Medwick (Evelyn) Johnston of East Prairie, MO, sisters-in-law Carol Ann Johnston and Carolyn Johnston ; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her son Randall Lee Gulledge, grandson Austin C. Gulledge and siblings Edith (Eugene) Moore, Florence (Geoffrey) Laramie, Loyce (Susie) Johnston, Katherine (Charles) Shannon, Bryant Johnston, Malcome Johnston, Denny Johnston and Kaye (Johnston) Dutel.

Visitation will be held Tuesday March 16, 2021, beginning at 11 am until time of the funeral service at Noon at Alexander White Mullen Funeral Home in St. Ann, Missouri. Pastor Quay Finefrock will officiate. Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis County.

Pallbearers will be Kevin R. Gulledge, Eric B. Johnston, Billy Moore, Keith Grigsby, Sam Ellis and Lamar Daniels.
