GRUMKE, Jackson “Jack” (Smiley), 86, on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Beloved husband of 57 years to Betty (nee Snead) Grumke; dear brother of Ethel (Robert) McLuen, Linn (the late Jackie) Grumke, and the late Ralph (Peg) Grumke; dear brother-in-law of Harold (Sophie), Carol, and the late John Snead; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Jack was a proud Navy World War II Veteran and member of American Legion Post #338. He retired in 1984 from CWA #6310 having worked for Southwestern Bell for 35 years as a lineman.. In his spare time, he was an artist, working with oils and also woodworking. Jack also made his own wine from his own vineyard.
