Joann Johnson

Lois “Joann” (nee Orrick) Johnson, 77, of Florissant, MO, Asleep in Jesus Monday, June 26, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Gladys (nee Green) Orrick; her husband of 56 years, Lester Johnson; and siblings, Arthur (Glenda) Orrick, Robert Orrick, Helen (Scotty) Scott, and Sharon Orrick. Joann is survived by her children, Les Johnson (George Betancourt), Donna (Dennis) Sullivan, David Johnson, and Doug Johnson; grandchildren, Lisa Sullivan, Shawn Sullivan, and Thomas Sullivan; a sister, Shirley Armstrong; a brother, Tom (Suedel) Orrick; and many other family members and friends.

Joann was a faithful servant of the Lord and a member of Park Road Baptist Church. She was bubbly and chatty yet strong and determined. She and Lester loved to travel and she fulfilled her bucket list of visiting the State Capitol building in all 50 states! She enjoyed family cruises with her children and was a proud breast cancer survivor. Joann loved the beauty of her flower garden and was the glue which held her family together. She will be missed.

Friends may visit on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home. Funeral service is at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 1 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
