Mrs. Allen was born December 15, 1940 in St. Louis, a daughter of Frances H. And Edythe Griese, nee Wilkinson. She is also survived by her children Catherine (James) Alford and James (Angie) Allen, and a granddaughter Crystal Allen; a brother William (Carole) Griese and a sister Karen Smith.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday February 19, at Alexander White-Mullen Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m.
