David Wisnosky

David "Dave" Wisnosky, of Saint Augustine, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on October 21, 1963, Dave lived a life defined by strength, devotion, and unwavering love for his family.

Dave grew up in Dover, New Jersey, and graduated from Dover High School, Class of 1982. He went on to proudly attend and graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point, Class of 1986. His class motto, “Courage Never Quits,” was not just words to Dave — it was the way he lived his life. Through every challenge, especially in his final chapter, he embodied that courage with quiet strength and determination.

Dave built a long and accomplished career as an Engineering Manager at Medtronic, where he worked for 18 years. He was respected for his leadership, integrity, and steady presence. But beyond his professional achievements, Dave’s greatest pride and joy was his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Wisnosky, and his mother-in-law, Patricia Gravois.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Leslie Wisnosky; his children, David Wisnosky, Lauren Wisnosky, Jacob Hatch, and Kara Hatch, who were the pride and joy of his life; his mother, Alicia Wisnosky; his sister, Amy Wisnosky; his father-in-law, John Gravois; and his mother-in-law, Gale Gravois. His strength, humor, guidance, and steadfast love will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Community Hospice at Baptist South for the compassion, dignity, and gentle care they provided Dave in his final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass in his honor on March 7th at 1:30 p.m. at San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church located at 1718 FL 13, Jacksonville, FL 32259

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dave’s memory to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville.
