Born and raised in Berger and Hermann, MO.

Loving husband of the late Clara “Claire” M. Wilding (nee: Eldringhoff).

Dear fiancée of Catherine A. Mahoney.

Dear father of David (Paula), Douglas (Kristen) and the late Deborah Wilding.

Beloved grandfather of granddaughters Noa, Isabel and Hannah Wilding and grandsons Nathan, Micah and Ethan Wilding.

Our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

Mr. Wilding had retired from the Saint Louis Police Department after many years of service. Volunteered for many years at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center at Jefferson Barracks, MO.

The funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel of Hoffmeister South County Chapel 1515 Lemay Ferry Road on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation before the service, beginning at 9:00am

Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Visitation at Hoffmeister South County on Friday 4 – 8 p.m.
