Jewell M. Hawthorne (nee Kirkpatrick) of Maplewood, Missouri passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the age of 90. Beloved daughter of the late Orville E. and Elizabeth B. "Bessie" Kirkpatrick (nee Murray). Cherished wife of the late Otis J. Hawthorne. Loving mother of Robert (Linda) Hawthorne, Peggy Stafford and Rita (Julius) Krisanic. Dearest grandmother of Julie (Justin) Handy, Rob (Stephanie) Hawthorne, Kelly Stiles, Adam Hawthorne, Kara (Ian) McFarland and Michael (Sara) Krisanic and great grandmother of Dustin Stiles, Dakota Stiles, Jackson Hawthorne, Haven Hawthorne and Elijah Krisanic. She was preceded in death by 7 sisters and 1 brother. Our dear aunt, great aunt and friend.
Funeral service to be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
