

Arthur Robert Oslon – of Swampscott, entered into rest on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Millicent (Karmin) Oslon. Devoted father of Richard Oslon. The loving brother of Jeanne Strauss. Dear son of the late Benjamin and Ida Oslon. He is also lovingly remembered by his nephews and great-nephews: the late Steven Drucker and his wife Anne; Robert Drucker and his wife Rose; Steven Strauss and his wife Olga; and niece Debbie Linden and her late husband John Linden. His cherished great-nephews Michael, Kevin, and William Drucker, as well as his great-niece Jackie Drucker, hold his memory dear.
Born and raised in New York, he grew up in Maspeth, Queens. Arthur graduated from the esteemed City College of New York, later establishing a loving family in Swampscott, MA.
A dedicated professional, he devoted 37 years to Raytheon Company, where his expertise as a respected professional engineer was matched only by his passion for his work. He held professional engineering credentials in both Massachusetts and New York, reflecting his deep commitment to his craft.
Arthur had a love for life’s many wonders. Whether playing or watching tennis, cheering for his beloved Boston sports teams—the Celtics and Patriots—or immersing himself in scientific magazines, his curiosity and zest for life never waned. His fascination with the solar system and the mysteries of the universe reflected his keen intellect and boundless wonder. A lover of politics, he kept himself well-informed and was an avid reader of Barron’s and Investor’s Business Daily.
A true gentleman, Arthur’s greatest joy was his family. He adored his wife, often serenading her with love, and treasured the moments spent with family, friends, and esteemed colleagues. His warm, kind-hearted nature, and unwavering devotion to those he loved, will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
