Bronislava is survived by her loving husband, Abram Sapozhnik; her sons Yakov Sapozhnik and his wife Yelena Kharzis of Lynn and Vladimir Sapozhnik and his wife Svetlana Sapozhnik of Marblehead; as well as her dear grandchildren: Jessica, Justin, Alyssa and Anna.
Bronislava worked all her life as a pediatrician and once she emigrated from the Ukraine, she dedicated herself to her family and helping raise her grandchildren. She loved to travel, explore museums, read books and had interest in theater and music. She loved animals, especially her cat Kokki in Ukraine and her son Vladimir’s cat, Peachy. When she got sick and spent many days in the hospital and rehab/nursing home, she always talked about her grandchildren and her favorite cat Peachy. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren, even when she was not 100% herself, she made sure to ask about everyone. Bronislava will be missed by all of her family and friends, she will be remembered for her sense of humor, funny and easy-going personality and for all her love, care and attention.
A funeral service for Bronislava will be held Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 10:00AM at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin Street, Salem, MA 01970; interment will follow at Pride of Lynn Cemetery, 89 Lake Shore Road, Lynn, MA 01904.
