We announce with sorrow the passing away of our beloved mother Ellen (Helen) Kulchinsky at 91 years she has passed on from heart failure. Ellen was born in Salem and was a long time resident of Summit Estates, Swampscott. Ellen recently moved to California to be closer to her daughters. Ellen was the loving wife of the late Aaron Kulchinsky, famed innovative Greyhound owner was passed away in 1997. She is survived by her two daughters June Kulchinsky of San Francisco, CA, Ruth and husband Dan Nealand of Moss Beach, CA., their children Rene, Aurora and Sasha. She is also survived by her sister Evelyn Atkins of Revere and brother-in-law Bernard Atkins. Ellen was the older sister of her deceased brother Danny Lintz. Our mother has a passion for playing her organ and gave great enjoyment to anyone who heard her play. She also had many talents as drawing, sewing, and cooking her famous Ruggelach. Her sweet spirit will be with us always. Mom you are finally home, rest in peace.
Services at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem-Swampscott line on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in the Pride of Lynn Cemetery, Lynn. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be donated to the American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
