Harriet Cort of Marblehead, MA, entered into rest on November 29,2022 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Arnold A. Cort. Devoted mother of Laurie A. Erhard (John) of Wenham, MA, Pamela S. Cort (Malcolm Smith) of Winchester, MA and Michael D. Cort of St. Augustine, FL. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Jessica, Rebecca, Eileen, Nicolas, Tomas, Cameron, Siera. The loving sister of Joseph Bank. Dear daughter of the late Max and Lillian Bank. She grew up in Lynn, MA, graduated from Lynn Classical High School, and raised her family in Marblehead, MA. She earned degrees from Boston University, Salem State College, Simmons College, and Vanderbilt University. She loved classical music and theatre. She cherished her time spent with family, friends. A funeral service for Harriet will be held on Friday, December 2,2022 at 10:00 AM at Stanetsky Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin Street, Salem, MA with interment at Workman’s Circle Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132. Memorial week will be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made Harriet’s memory to charity of your choice.
