Judy Goldstein, age 89, died peacefully on Saturday, March 21. Judy, a resident of Danvers and formerly of Swampscott, is the daughter of Edward and Sally Goldstein, who predeceased her, and sister to Gary Goldstein and his wife Jan of Salem, NH. She was an aunt to Abbey and Laura Goldstein.
Judy was a loving and positive person who never let her handicap of cerebral palsy stop her from enjoying connections to others, listening to music (especially country tunes), and being an active member of her “group home family.” She also loved her outings with her brother to nearby breakfast restaurants so they could munch on French toast and coffee together.
The family wants to thank the group home staff of Bridgewell’s Garden St home for the extraordinary care and love they showered on Judy, especially during this final period of her life. A special thank you goes to Katherine for her unending commitment to supporting a full life for Judy.
