

Laurence “Larry” Levine, beloved husband of 65 years to Nancy (Rubin) Levine, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from declining health. He lived in Peabody, MA for the past 2 years after having relocated back to Massachusetts from Florida in 2022. Larry and Nancy proudly raised their family in Wakefield, MA after creating roots there in 1969.
Born on June 28, 1938, in Roxbury, MA, he was the child of Hyman and Esther (Greenfield) Levine. Larry graduated from Revere High School alongside his childhood sweetheart, Nancy. He served in the National Guard from 1961 to 1964. Larry entered the workforce and quickly worked his way up the ranks at Enterprise Liquors in Revere, MA. After years at Enterprise, he shifted to working in Boston, at Clarendon Wine Company of Copley Square, closing out his career as owner and retiring in 2015. Larry was a very active member of the Boston Kiwanis Club, pouring time and energy into their organization and through them found his passion philanthropy, Camp Allen in Bedford, NH. Camp Allen became very near and dear to Larry’s heart and with great pride, he spearheaded annual fundraisers and events to support their work and their contributions to supporting those with disabilities.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Hyman and Esther, his brother Robert and his wife Helen, and his sister Rita Levine Sherman and her husband Edward, as well as his grand-son-in-law, Anthony Albano. He is survived by Nancy Levine, his wife, and his sons, Bryan, his wife Kristin Martone-Levine, Bruce, his wife Cheryl Waskas-Levine, Britt, and his wife Kimberley Levine. He is also survived by his grandchildren, and the lights in his life, Kelly Levine-Albano and her partner Bryan Donahue, Kayla Levine and her partner Rob Claflin, Jennifer Levine Hartling and her husband Paul, and Jake Levine, as well as the youngest member of the family, and apple of his eye, his great-granddaughter, Raelyn Albano.
There will be a graveside service at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, 185 Lake Street, Peabody, MA, on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 11:00AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Larry’s name to Camp Allen, 56 Camp Road, Bedford, NH 03110.
