Norma Lehrman

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Ruth (Garber) Schulte.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a registered nurse, spending the last twenty years in the Medical Office of Dr. Bodner in Union, NJ.

Norma was a lifetime member of Hadassah and enjoyed taking leadership roles in the sisterhoods of the synagogues to which she belonged. She was a member of the Jewish Community Center of North Virginia, where she was proud to be part of the Yiddish class. She was most recently a member of the Chabad at Tysons Congregation of Vienna, Virginia. She also enjoyed playing canasta and dominoes.

She leaves her children: Deborah L. Berndtson and her husband David of Vienna, VA, Steven J. Lehrman of Los Angeles, CA, and Paul B. Lehrman and his wife Shelley of Solon, OH. Cherished Grandmother to Aaron and Rachel Berndtson and Benjamin, Eliana and Gabriella Lehrman. She was the sister of Joel Schulte of Grand Junction, CO and the late Sylvia Stamell.

Services at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St. SALEM on Wednesday at 1:00PM. Interment following at Chevra Mishna Cemetery, Lynn. Memorial Observance following the service at the home of Dr. Michael and Lynn Garber and on Thurs. and Sat. at the home of Deborah and David Berndtson at 7PM.
