Clyde was born on July 18th 1952 in Arcata California. He was the oldest of 5 children born to parents Clyde Sr. and Mary. Clyde spent his childhood and much of his adulthood in California. He loved the ocean and was a very accomplished surfer. Clyde won many surfing competitions his lifetime. He left California for work and resided in Southern Oregon at the time of his death.
Clyde shared a special bond with his brother Dan with whom he worked alongside in the trucking business, and his mother Mary. They enjoyed the outdoors and often reminisced about their hunting and fishing adventures over the years. He enjoyed a good Mike's Hard Lemonade. His family will miss his laugh, his presence and the many visits over the years. He was a friend to many who will be missed and who is gone far too soon.
He is survived by his mother Mary Hayes; brother Dan Alcorn; sisters Brenda and Karen. Clyde was preceded in death by his father Clyde Sr., and his sister Debbie. A funeral service honoring his life and legacy will be held at Howell Edwards Doerksen Funeral Home on July 22nd, 2015 at 11:00am. A reception will follow. Clyde will be laid to rest at Belcrest Memorial Park following the reception.
