

Deanna Jo Wolski, 72, went home to the Lord on January 31st 2014 with friends and family surrounding her. Deanna was born May 14, 1941 in Corvallis, Oregon to Basil “Bud” and Opal (Gearhart) Branson. She was the oldest of three daughters. After graduating from Corvallis High School, she married Bob Roughton on July 11, 1959, making their home in Albany, Oregon. Deanna and Bob had two children, Thomas and Tami. They later divorced. Deanna married Rodney Wolski on November 16, 1972 in Vancouver, Washington and making their home in Albany. They had one child, Eric. She attended Linn-Benton Community College receiving an Associates Degree. She and Eric moved to Salem in 1988. Deanna worked as a medical receptionist for Willamette Ear, Nose, Throat and Plastic Surgery where she retired from in 2011. Deanna was active with her church participating in bible studies and many volunteer projects. Deanna took exceptional pride in her landscaping and planting beautiful flowers every spring. She was ferociously independent and enjoyed time with her family and was a warm and caring person.
She is survived by her two sisters, Lynda Fryman of Salem; Susan Dierdorff and husband Bill of Bend; son Eric and his wife April of Gresham; daughter Tami and her husband Gary Wood of Albany; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Tom, brother-in-law Delmar “Butch” Fryman, niece Tracy Granno and great niece Tara Granno.
Services will be at 11:00 am on February 10, 2014 at the Salem Alliance Church, 555 Gaines Street NE, Salem. Arrangements by Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors.
