As a young man, he loved to ice skate, snow ski, and swim in the rivers after jumping from the bridges. In the 1950's , he found enjoyment flying his own airplane. He also loved to ride motorcycles and continued to ride well into his 70s traveling back to Montana to visit relatives on a yearly basis. He attended Assembly of God churches and volunteered at various church sites in Arizona.
Preceding him in death are his son, Dennis R. Heath and a great-grandaughter.
Surviving are his daughter Sharon Gutierrez of Corvallis, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at Brooks Assembly of God on Monday, August 20th at 11 am with reception. A Graveside will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors.
