

She was born a twin to Merl and Goldie Curtis in Greely Colorado. The family moved to Salem when she was 5 and has lived here since. She was such a sweet gentle person that everyone loved.
She married her beloved husband Andy in June of 1952 in Salem. They had two children. She spent many years working with disabled children and adults. She worked so hard to see them happy and learning to do things they enjoyed. She owned and operated Kiddy Craft Day Care for many years. She loved working with the kids and their activities. When they grew up they would come and visit her which made her very happy.
She had a hobby of collecting porcelain dolls. She had many unique and beautiful dolls. She also liked to RV with Andy to the coast and Diamond Lake.
Lois is survived by her loving husband, Andy; daughter, Kathy (Doyle) Hillesland; son, Danny Aronson. Holly Casey and grandchildren; Tye, Annalia, Cameron and Javien; her twin sister, Lola Tunnell and (Ray); younger sister, Norma (Byron) Hawkins; and many nieces nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held Friday March 2nd from 1-5pm at Howell Edwards Doerkson Chapel of the Gardens, 1350 Commercial St SE. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 5th at 2:00pm.
