Mt. Angel ~ Lois was born in Tuttle, Oklahoma to Harry and Mattie Davis on January 22, 1933. The family moved to Oregon in 1943 and settled in the Stayton-North Santiam area. On September 19, 1950, she married Gene Shamberger.
Lois is survived by her husband, Gene Shamberger; brother Freeman Davis; sons Ronald and David (Lois); five grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mattie Davis; sons Roger, Regan and Donald; brothers Ernie, John and Harry Jr.; sisters Essie Fox and Mildred Matthews; and granddaughter Ashley Shamberger.
A visitation will be held Tues., Nov. 16, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and a funeral service will be held Wed., Nov. 17 at 10 a.m., both at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen Funeral Home. Contributions can be made to Willamette Valley Hospice.
