Margaret Louise Clarkson passed away on the morning of April 3, 2026, as she was peacefully reposed in the presence of her two sons, Kevin Clarkson and Thomas Clarkson. Margaret was born in Newberg, Oregon on June 13, 1931, the seventh of thirteen children born to John and Bessie Speer. She saw much during her life, living through the Great Depression, World War II, the social revolution of the 1960s, and the turn of the century. She was preceded in death by her husband Malcolm “Tommy” Clarkson, her two daughters Linda Seven, and Rebecca Leber, and all of her twelve siblings. She was the loving grandmother of thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-five great grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Keizer Community Church, 380 Churchdale Ave. N., Keizer, OR, where a memorial service is planned for April 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with a lunch for family and friends afterwards.
