Suzanne was born in January 1957 in Arizona, where she lived until 1981 when she moved to Oregon. Suzanne’s tenacious personality kept her focused and not easily shaken by life’s ups and downs. Those that knew Suzanne, know that above all else, family came first. She was her children’s biggest cheerleader and constant champion. In 1992, Suzanne met Audie and they were married in April of 1993. Their love for each other and mutual passions soared them through 28 years of marriage.
Suzanne’s passion for interior design led her to a career path as Design Project Manager for the construction of assisted living and memory care communities. She was especially devoted to our veterans; in fact, she made a point to have a special wall at each facility dedicated to all branches of the service.
Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. How lucky are we to have someone that makes saying goodbye so hard. She will be forever loved and forever remembered.
Suzanne was predeceased by her parents, William Glasgow (Dub, Sr.) White, Mary Frances White, and her brother, Robert (Bobby) White.
She is survived by her loving husband, Audie Towery; her children Noel (Leah) Carter and Tiea (James) Vaughn; grandchildren Sheneyah and Taehler Tobey, Alissa and Rhett Carter; brothers Dub (Jean) White, Joe (Kate) White, and David (Mary) White; and sister Beth (Steve Franklin).
Services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, June 6th at the Marion Church of God (Seventh Day), 7478 Stayton Rd SE, Turner, OR 97392.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Suzanne’s memory to the Towery Youth Camp Scholarship Fund in care of Marion Church of God (Seventh Day).
