Pat is survived by her sons James Gravetter formally of Reno, NV, and Casey Gravetter of Houston, TX, Trudy Leupold and family (longtime caregiver and friend), grandchildren Ryan, Andrea, Jake, and Bill-Lee, great grandchildren Dade and Jace. She is preceded in death by her brother Russel Scott, husband of 48 years Billy E Gravetter, and daughters Pamela and Debra.
Pat was born on Sept 15, 1921 in Salem to Dr. Ottley and Alta Scott. Pat married William E Gravetter in 1944 in Salem, Oregon. They moved to St. Louis, Missouri will Bill served in Europe during WWII. In the 1950's, they returned to Salem where Bill and Pat opened a successful accounting office in Keizer where she worked as a bookkeeper. Hobbies included knitting, gardening, and watching The Blazers. At the end of her life, Pat enjoyed sitting at the window of her home waving at the kids of the neighborhood elementary school.
A funeral is scheduled for 12:00 pm, Monday, March 7th at Restlawn Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation Sunday, March 6th from 12pm to 4 pm at Howell-Edwards funeral home on 1350 Commercial St SE, Salem, OR. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Pat’s life.
