

The son of John P. Wilson and Rinda Lou Nelson.
Randy passed away January 11,2023 at Salem hospital
surrounded by his loved ones.
Randy was a true warrior and fought a long and hard battle with Leukemia.
"Randy the Warrior" was an amazing husband, son, brother, cousin ,uncle, and friend.
Randy is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Debbie Wilson of Salem Oregon,
his mother Rinda Nelson of Aberdeen Washington,
4 brothers Bronc Wilson of Salem Oregon, Tony Wilson of Vancouver Washington,
Jason Shippy & Greg Shippy of Silverton Oregon,
sister Shana Castaneda of Aberdeen Washington, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father John (Duke) P. Wilson and by
his stepmother Charlotte (Chalky) Wilson.
In Randy's younger years he was an avid hunter with his wife and cousins.
He taught all his nieces and nephews the importance of gun safety and
how to shoot. This brought him great joy.
Randy was a talented artist and story teller, from creating sketches and paintings. and one
of his many talents was carving. Randy was featured twice in the Keizer Times
with his beautiful carved Totem poles.
Always willing to give a helping hand, Randy was the type of man that would
give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was one of kind with his big heart,
crazy sense of humor, and a laugh so contagious you couldn't help but smile and laugh with him.
Randy loved his family and was as true as the color blue.
Randy will forever be in the hearts of all he came across.
Gone but never forgotten.
A viewing will be at 10:30 am on 1/22/2023 for family and friends with
a cremation ceremony following afterwards.
